Caramel Cafe & Lounge opened its doors in 2020 with a simple mission: create a place where Ntinda's community could gather, connect, and enjoy exceptional coffee. Founded by a team of passionate coffee enthusiasts and hospitality professionals, we saw a gap — Kampala had cafes, but none that combined premium quality with genuine warmth.
We named ourselves “Caramel” because it represents everything we stand for: warm, rich, comforting, and just a little bit indulgent. It's the color of Ugandan sunsets, the sweetness in your coffee, and the feeling we want every guest to experience.
Today, we're proud to be part of the Ntinda community — serving students from nearby universities, professionals from local businesses, families on weekends, and everyone in between.
